Method:

1. Start another, fail another, start again, start another, fail, reflect on what is deemed a fail, maybe reflect on why what is why it has come to be or why what is what has come to be and who the fuck thinks its a fail or not... pick a few things that sound good regardless and start from there, loose what you started in piles of saved info and poor archiving, make another full piece, trash it, start another.

2. Think often about what if they are wrong... what if you are wrong. Repeat as necessary while keeping in mind that some outcomes--the chosen produce and concrete, they conspire into drastically compounding problems later. Drawing false equivalency between opposing actions yields from the get go some pretty fucking terrible tangents. Try regardless.

3. Find things that are fun, surprising, odd...; confront such things, learn, play... forgive the tools for stealing what you could have learnt or had learned from another. Use tools as they use you but let the AI kiddos learn their own racket of bullshit--this is not for them or for you.

4. Listen to piece. Abandon it for some bad mic issues buried in the mix. Forget that it exists.

5. A while later... try to mix it as best you can with what you got... its just fucking punk rock so its what it is.

6. Play around with levels and listen to in one too many car rides then maybe necessary--then thats that.

7. Draw/reflect full heartedly from a power and strength from the sincerity and breath of a beautiful friend's reiterative rendition of a song she had in her, from her, from her love, for her love, for her care, for her spite, for her vengeance, for her ineffable relationship to existence, for her and me and us. Garner the difficulty to grow and share what is such growth.
